Hello, and Welcome to my Homepage. Here you will find short stories and the beginning of the books I am currently writing.  There is also some of my recent poetry.  Sign my Guestbook to tell me what you think and if you would like a copy of the book     What Am I doing? At the moment I am getting the final piece proof-read, working on the sequel, and planning a new book My novel will be ready for publishing sometime soon, as long as the editing goes smoothly. Details will also be available on this website. If any one out there is planning, or has published, a book, and would like me to read or criticise it I would be very happy too. Thank you to all those who have read my book, I value your opinions and criticisms immensely. A few chapters to the sequel have been written; hopefully it will take less time for this one to come out in print.  I am 21 years old,  had have just finished my degree in Creative Writing and Film Studies   All of my writings (apart from Priceless) have originated from dreams I have had. Music This is a great inspiration for me, and most of the chapters in my book are themed around a particular song or artist. Feeder was my main inspiration whilst the book was starting out, but this has expanded across many genres and styles. I have an eclectic mixture of interests when it comes to music.  Film My favourite director is Tim Burton. My favourite film is The Lost Boys. I also like German Expressionism, French films, Martial Arts, Vampire... Books I read a lot, and I  feel that this helps me to write better, and how to structure, and plan my stories. My favorite authoress is Catherine Fisher, and my favorite book is Interview with the Vampire. I look up to Sherryl Jordan, as she writes in the style for children that I want to do. I read Sign of the Lion when I was young, and has been one of my favourites since.  Other books I have liked include: The Alchemists of Babel, The Book Thief, Elephant Gold,  Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, ,The Dark Tower series, Dreamcatcher, Frankenstein, From a Buick 8, The Handmaids Tale, The Hobbit, Memoirs of a Geisha, Men, Woman and Chainsaws, The Mysterious Flame of Queen Loana, The Shadow of the Wind, The Timetraveller's Wife, The Twilight series, Vernon God Little, Wuthering Heights Other Interests  Gothic art and photography, Dali, Greece, Greek mythology, Hawaii, Chinese calligraphy and proverbs, the sea, Hip hop and ballroom dance, ballet etc.   June 2008
